Project Description
Exercising in Outpatient Hearth Clinic at Hospital
Exercising while being investigated / Diagnosed can be difficult for many people.
Our exerciser is used at a Hospital in this specific situation. The hospital reports that many of their patients have sleep difficulties, and the only way of staying active for many of these patients is to walk back and forth in the corridors.
When our exerciser was introduced, many of these people (who could not walk far away due to sensors and hearth problems) used the exerciser several times a day – and even during the night.
The exerciser does not require interaction by nurses, and is instantly adapted by the patients. For insomnia some patients even used it and walked back in bed after a few minutes of exercising.
